The pharmaceutical production unit includes the following departments:

• Powder production & Filling Department: Equipped with Mixers and filling machines, for
  preparation of oral powders.
• Liquid Production & Filling Department: Equipped with preparation tanks for liquid, suspensions and bottle filling lines.

The quality Control laboratories are subjected to good laboratory procedure.
The quality Control personnel are all trained on continuous basis self-inspection and quality audit.

The Quality Control unit is responsible for continuous inspection and approval of every product from procurement of raw materials to the loading of finished products.

• Pharmaceutical control.

SHAFAVET is equipped with an advanced research and development unit with highly qualified staff.
The research is conducted with the latest accurate instruments.

The research and development unit formulates new products as well as improve develops the existing ones.
The newly formulated product should pass the following steps, which are carried out in the research and
development unit:

• Formulation studies.

• Stability studies.

Quality Assurance Incorporates both G.M.P Quality Control and other factors such as product
design and development. The organisation of Quality Assurance

Applying environmental management system As well as the quality Assurance unit, the follow up of the application of the following steps required:

• IPC.

All departments are operating under the company’s custom-designed, automated system which enables quick, efficient, and controlled procedures.

This in turn facilitates fast and accurate inventory control of raw materials & stock needs enabling rapid production
thereby delivering the end-product to our customers in minimal time.

The library contains a collection of recent scientific pharmacopoeias, magazines, medical journals, handbooks and computer database sources. These are used as references for the (required information) by different departments, such as the production department, registration department and research department.

The library is not only used for scientific reference but also as a source of information used by the Marketing, Legal and Administrative departments.

The conference room is equipped with a screen projector for promotional as well as informative presentations. It is also equipped with a showcase presenting our product range as well as our advertising brochures and posters.
