COMPOSITION:

Each 1 gm contains:

Colistin Sulphate 800.000 IU

PROPERTIES:

Colistin belongs to polypeptide antibiotics (polymixins) which is highly effective against gram-negative bacteria ; it has strong local action due to poor absorption from GIT.

INDICATIONS:

SHAFA – STIN highly effective against gram-negative bacteria especially E.coli.

SHAFA – STIN used for treatment of Enteric infections caused by E.coli , Salmonella , Pasturella , Kelbsiella , and Pseudomonas.

SHAFA – STIN has a strong local action due to poor absorption from GIT .

DOSAGE:

Poultry: 100 gm / 200 Liter of drinking water for 4 days.

Calves & Lambs: 1 gm / 20 Kg body weight for 4 days.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:

Don’t use animals’ products during treatment and within 4 days from the last treatment.

PACKING:

500 gm, 1 Kg.
