Solution

COMPOSITION:

Each 1 ml contains:
Methyl silicon 2.5 gm
Anis oil 0.1 ml
Turpentine oil 25 ml
Peppermint oil 0.05 m

INDICATIONS:

For the treatment of frothy bloat in cattle, sheep, goats and spasmodic colic in equines .

DOSAGE:

* Shake well before use.
* Given as oral drench or by stomach tube.
* Cattle, Equines: 100-50 ml with 500ml of water or food oil, given orally.
* Sheep, Goats: 25-15 ml with 250ml of water or food oil, given orally.
* Double the dose in severe cases, especially for large animals.

In cases of emergency:

– Sheep, goats: given directly by the intraruminal injection.
– Cattle: directly, injected into the rumen by the trocar and canula.
– Equines: directly, given by the stomach tube.

Remark:

Not given in cases of organophosphorus poisoning
